Each PLA-coated paper cup is made of durable cardboard and has a thin bio-layer of polylactic acid (PLA) on the inside. This reliably protects the cup from getting wet and leaking and is also fully biodegradable.

The product is made from 100% bio-based (natural and renewable) resources - pure wood. Thanks to this, it has a much lower carbon footprint (carbon dioxide emissions) throughout its life cycle than conventional plastic disposable tableware.
